Taylor Ham is a candidate for the Master of Global Policy Studies (DC Concentration) at the LBJ School. A cum laude graduate in political science/international studies from Baylor University, she minored in history with a focus on Russian history. While earning her undergraduate degree, Ham participated in a study abroad program at Maastricht University, which developed her interest in foreign relations and intelligence, particularly during a visit to the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands. After graduation, she became a credit officer at a community bank in Waco, Texas, where she led a team of analysts, wrote and edited memoranda for management and executive leadership, and conducted research for the senior credit administrator.

Ham hopes to find a Policy Apprenticeship in Washington, DC with an organization that researches security issues involving Russia and their impact on relations with the global community.
