DC Conference: Countering China’s security state: A bipartisan approach

Rep. Ted Yoho (R-FL) of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and the ranking member of the Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific, will join several scholars and experts in China policy studies to debate a bipartisan approach to countering China’s technologies of repression and influence during a one-day conference in the Hart Senate Office Building.

The event is sponsored by the Robert Strauss Center for International Security and Law and the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin and the American Foreign Policy Council (AFPC). Joshua Eisenman, a professor of public affairs at the LBJ School, distinguished scholar with the Strauss Center and a senior fellow for China studies at AFPC, is the main conference organizer.
