2023 LBJ DC Fellow
Mauliola Harley Gonsalves earned her Master of Public Affairs (DC Concentration) at the LBJ School. A cum laude graduate in international relations from Gonzaga University, she minored in French and public relations.
Prior to graduate school, Gonsalves served as a college adviser with the Virginia College Advising Corps, a joint program with AmeriCorps and the University of Virginia. This experience encouraged her interest in aiding marginalized and disenfranchised communities through social, political and economic development.
Gonsalves was a teaching assistant for the History Department at the University of Texas at Austin’s College of Liberal Arts. Gonsalves also served as the communications director for the Baines Report, a student-led publishing of the LBJ School.
