The LBJ Washington Center is excited to welcome its eleventh cohort of outstanding graduate students to Washington, DC, as part of the LBJ School of Public Affairs’ distinctive and accelerated DC Concentration program.

This summer and fall, Master of Public Affairs and Master of Global Policy Studies students will immerse themselves in life and work in the nation’s capital, balancing evening coursework with a required six‑month Policy Apprenticeship at leading public and private policy organizations across the city.

From Capitol Hill and executive branch agencies to government relations firms and nonprofit organizations, students will gain hands‑on experience across the federal policy ecosystem—building professional skills, expanding networks, and engaging directly in the policymaking process. Students will complete the program and graduate early in December 2026.
