2026 LBJ DC Fellow
Danny Anderson is a Master of Public Affairs (DC Concentration) candidate at the LBJ School. He attended the University of Richmond on a Presidential Scholarship, where he earned a BA in Philosophy, Politics, Economics, and Law, and a minor in Entrepreneurship.
Prior to LBJ, Anderson served as a public school teacher with Teach for America for two years and held numerous federal and state policy analysis internships and part-time roles. Now, Anderson is combining his knowledge from the classroom and the committee room to build upon the social programs his community relies on, such as WIC, SNAP, and Medicaid. He is fluent in Spanish and English and has become an expert presenter and technical writer.
Anderson seeks a Policy Apprenticeship with an advocacy group or Congressional staff that share his commitment to children's health and success.
