Director, LBJ Washington Center
Robin Presta Boone joined the LBJ Washington Center in 2015 and has played a central role in designing, implementing, and evaluating all aspects of the Center’s programs and operations. As Director, she provides strategic and operational leadership, advancing student success while strengthening the LBJ School’s presence in Washington, DC.
Prior to joining the LBJ School, Boone spent 11 years with the Council of American Overseas Research Centers, where she developed and managed international scholarly exchange and research fellowship programs for U.S. and international students and scholars. She also supported the establishment of new overseas research centers and partnered with the executive director on legislative advocacy and constituency engagement.
Boone is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and holds an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University.
