Sophie Webster is a Master of Public Affairs (DC Concentration) candidate at the LBJ School. She is a suma cum laude graduate of Baylor University, where she majored in University Scholars with concentrations in Political Science and International Studies.

During her undergraduate studies, Webster interned for Rep. Colin Allred (TX-32) in the US House of Representatives. After graduating, she served as an AmeriCorps Member in Washington, DC, where she fostered student development and promoted educational equity through high-impact tutoring and afterschool programming services. Webster earned a 2024-25 Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award to Poland, where she taught at the Stanisław Staszic State University of Applied Sciences in Piła. As a Fulbright grantee, she created a lecture series about American culture in partnership with Education USA and several Polish high schools. She is currently a Policy Analysis Fellow for Texas Rep. Josey Garcia.

Webster is interested in completing her Policy Apprenticeship with a congressional committee or think tank.
