2019 LBJ DC Fellow
Abby Marcus received her Master of Global Policy Studies (DC Concentration) at the LBJ School. She earned her bachelor’s degree with a double major in political science and French from Rice University. As an undergraduate, she completed internships with the Institut Français de Relations Internationales in Paris and the U.S. Department of Education. After graduation, she spent a year as an English teaching assistant in rural France and two years as a civics instructor with the Close Up Foundation in Washington, DC. Since returning to school, Marcus has built upon her coursework with hands-on experience at Raise Your Hand Texas. She is interested in international development and international education.
