2018 LBJ DC Fellow
Audrey Brandl received her Master of Public Affairs (DC Concentration) at the LBJ School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication and anthropology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Following graduation, she served as a Teach For America charter corps member in San Antonio, teaching eighth-grade U.S. history and English. During her term of service, Audrey also worked at the Office of San Antonio Mayor Julián Castro as an education policy intern. She is interested in education and social policy, with a particular focus on school turnaround, equitable resource allocation, and delinquency prevention.
