Constitutional War Powers II: Going to War

The Strauss Center at the University of Texas at Austin, in partnership with the National Security Law Program at Columbia Law School, presents the latest installments in an ongoing series of national security law webinars. On July 29 and Aug. 5, Professor Matt Waxman of Columbia will present a series of lectures concerning the Constitution and war powers.

In this lecture, Professor Waxman will explore the Constitution's distribution of power of the decision to take the nation to war or to otherwise initiate military operations, with an emphasis on what has changed over time.
