Fuselier, Paige

2017 LBJ DC Fellow

Paige Fuselier received her Master of Public Affairs (DC Concentration) at the LBJ School. She majored in agricultural leadership and development as an undergraduate at Texas A&M University, and is interested in the convergence of aid, international agriculture development and negotiation, particularly in the context of mediation and diplomacy. While earning her undergraduate degree, Paige interned at the U.S. Embassy in London with the U.S. Commercial Service, where she facilitated partnerships between U.S. and U.K. businesses. Her legislative internship with the Texas Farm Bureau further spurred her interest in agriculture policy. Upon graduation, she completed one year in rural Ghana with AgriCorps as an agriculture extension agent focused on youth empowerment through entrepreneurship.
Paige undertook her 2017 Policy Apprenticeship in the office of U.S. Rep. Mike Conaway, chairman of the House Committee on Agriculture, and at the U.S. House Subcommittee on Human Resources, part of the Ways and Means Committee.
