Herman: Hillary Clinton calls grandparents to action during Austin visit

A couple of grandmas, one local and one visiting from New York, were chatting here in Austin the other night about the past and the future. Perhaps predictably, the past was viewed fondly and the future with some trepidation.

Both grandmas are women of considerable accomplishment. The local one is dean of the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas. She’s Angela Evans. The visiting grandma’s impressive résumé includes getting the most votes for president of the United States in 2016.
