Jalaina Douglas

2022 LBJ DC Fellow

Jalaina Douglas received her Master of Public Affairs (DC Concentration) at the LBJ School. She is a magna cum laude graduate in sociology as an undergraduate at Texas Tech University.
While earning her degree, Douglas served as the political action committee delegate on the Big XII Council for Black Student Government, which developed her interest in political advocacy for Black people. After finishing her undergraduate studies, Douglas completed an internship with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, based in Washington DC.
Douglas is currently a graduate assistant for the Leadership Program at the McCombs School of Business.
