2025 LBJ DC Fellow
Megan Hart is a candidate for the Master of Public Affairs (DC Concentration) at the LBJ School. She attended Tulane University, where she majored in political science and social policy & practice.
Before graduate school, Hart worked for Merchant McIntyre Associates, a DC-based government relations firm that specializes in federal funding and advocacy for nonprofits in the healthcare, higher education, and local government sectors.
Hart is interested in health policy, particularly reproductive health and its intersection with women’s rights and family policy. At the LBJ School, she is taking an elective course in reproductive health, rights, and justice policy to learn more about the history of reproductive health policy in the United States.
Hart hopes to find a Policy Apprenticeship in DC focused on health policy and other social policy, working with either a member of Congress or the Department of Health and Human Services.
