Roman Pable

2018 LBJ DC Fellow

Roman Pable received his Master of Global Policy Studies (DC Concentration) at the LBJ School. Roman is an Austrian Fulbright Fellow and graduated with highest distinction in political science from the University of Vienna, focusing on international relations and modern history. As an undergraduate, he worked for the United Nations Youth Organization and the U.S. Embassy in Vienna. He also spent several months in Moscow, where he studied at the State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) and volunteered at a local NGO. Post-graduation, Roman worked as a policy adviser in the Austrian Parliament and gained expertise in developing and communicating policy on a wide ranging portfolio including foreign affairs, national security, development aid, and the European Union.
