Ryan Anderson is a candidate for the Master of Public Affairs (DC Concentration) at the LBJ School. After graduating summa cum laude with degrees in accounting and finance from Kent State University, he completed a two-year financial analyst rotational program with JPMorgan Chase. Anderson then transitioned to strategy consulting, where he directed operations at an investment management firm and several tech startups. He is currently taking courses in computational social science and cybersecurity to better understand the implications of emerging technologies.

Anderson wishes to find a Policy Apprenticeship with a think tank or NGO researching innovative yet sustainable ways to facilitate these technologies and equitably distribute the prosperity they bring.
