USNWR 2021 grad school rankings: LBJ School ranks #8

AUSTIN, Texas, March 17, 2020 ­— ­The LBJ School of Public Affairs ranks No. 8 in graduate public affairs schools in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report's (USNWR) 2021 edition of "Best Graduate Schools," released Tuesday morning. The LBJ School gained overall, moving up from the No. 10 spot in the 2020 rankings. It held steady at No. 10 in homeland security, showed gains in public management and leadership and ranked in the top 20 for nonprofit management, social policy and public policy analysis.

U.S. News & World Report's graduate rankings, separate from the magazine’s yearly rankings of undergraduate programs, are among the most widely regarded ratings in higher education. Note: The U.S. News rankings of public affairs programs are based solely on opinions of each program’s quality as rated by academic experts at peer institutions.
